BT, one of the world’s leading communication brands, was already using an in-house cart recovery solution but wanted to engage more abandoned shoppers and increase completed orders. To do this, BT partnered with SaleCycle and used its email remarketing service to target customers who left before checkout.
SaleCycle implemented dynamic segmentation, first-name personalization, and a multi-cycle email campaign that sent reminders one hour after abandonment and a follow-up after three days. The results were strong: BT reached three times as many abandoners, achieved over 52% email open rates, a 5.3% conversion rate from sends, and increased online sales by over 13%.
