Yap� Kredi, Turkey's third-largest private bank, set out to modernize a fragmented, siloed identity and access management environment that was slowing operations and increasing security risk—especially as remote work and next‑generation technologies expanded the attack surface. The bank's objectives were to improve authorization performance, centralize identity governance, automate certification, ensure regulatory compliance, and boost productivity across IT and business units.
Working with İHS Teknoloji to deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ, Yapı Kredi unified teams, automated certification and authorization workflows, and introduced separation‑of‑duty controls and centralized reporting. Results included on‑time certification rates rising from 65% to 98%, annual certification man‑days falling from 60–70 to zero, a 30% reduction in authorization management workload, automated SoD alarms, daily user snapshots, improved DevOps integration, and materially reduced security risk.
