Identity Security Drives Frictionless Automation at BNP Paribas Bank Polska

BNP Paribas Bank Polska needed a robust identity security solution to manage a large, complex banking environment with over 10,000 users, hundreds of applications, and thousands of IT resources. As the bank integrated entities through mergers, it faced growing IAM challenges around user rights, application identities, compliance, and keeping processes simple, secure, and efficient. SailPoint Technologies was chosen as the vendor and identity governance platform to support these needs.

SailPoint Technologies helped BNP Paribas Bank Polska automate IAM at scale, supporting about 600 production applications and 300 test/development applications with roughly 120,000 managed rights. The bank says nearly 100% of its IAM processes are automated, 90% of the 800 monthly user requests are executed automatically, onboarding is fully automatic, and access provisioning takes less than one day. SailPoint Technologies also enabled self-service password resets, certification campaigns, and stronger access governance, reducing helpdesk burden and improving security.
