Flinders University builds an identity program for higher education

Flinders University, a technical research university in southern Australia, needed to retire its unsupported legacy identity warehouse and ensure students, staff, and privileged users were provisioned correctly and on time. The university also wanted an identity solution that fit its cloud-first strategy.

Working with SailPoint Technologies, Flinders moved to a cloud model and strengthened identity security across the organization. This helped the university get staff and students back to work and study during COVID quickly, with protocols implemented within a week and in some cases on the first day, while adding new security controls for remote access.
