AXA Belgium, part of the global AXA insurance group, faced rising risk and cost from manually managing internal and external access to business applications. The company needed a centralized, automated identity governance and administration (IGA) solution to simplify external customers’ access to policy and claims data and to improve internal access certification, role management and lifecycle processes.

Working with Adinsec, AXA deployed SailPoint IdentityIQ to provide multilingual, governance-based identity management and self-service access for corporate customers. The implementation empowered customers to manage their own policy access, centralized and automated internal access certifications and joiner/mover/leaver workflows, reduced operational overhead, and scaled to manage hundreds of thousands of objects—improving security, visibility and efficiency across the organization.
