Adobe Transitions Legacy Provisioning to Next-Generation Identity Management

Adobe faced the end-of-life of its legacy Sun Identity Manager and needed a new provisioning solution that would meet immediate user-access needs and support future identity and access management goals. Working with systems integrator Qubera Solutions, Adobe selected SailPoint IdentityIQ for its familiarity with Sun technology, broader capabilities, and flexible deployment options.

IdentityIQ was deployed as a one-time transition, providing user-driven access requests, automated provisioning and password management, and centralized identity governance for some 16,000 employees, contractors and vendors across 12 applications. The solution delivered faster, lower-cost access changes, reduced IT workload, enabled lifecycle and role-based management, and positioned Adobe to expand into additional identity-governance capabilities.
