Virginia Information Technologies Agency scales IT service delivery across 68 agencies with SAIC

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) faced the challenge of maintaining a cohesive IT ecosystem after transitioning from a single- to a multi-supplier model. This new environment required finesse to coordinate various service providers, some of whom viewed each other as competitors. VITA needed a partner to provide multi-sourcing service integration (MSI) for this substantial undertaking.

SAIC delivered an MSI model to harmonize service delivery, consolidating and centrally administering IT services from nine suppliers. This framework integrated all providers into a collaborative system, centralized service management for 68 state agencies, and provided a self-service portal. The implementation significantly enhanced the quality and efficiency of service delivery for VITA, ensuring access to robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure. SAIC's solution enhanced service quality, cost transparency, and client satisfaction, positioning VITA to leverage emerging technologies for the Commonwealth.
