Arab Banking Corporation (Bank ABC) is an international bank headquartered in Manama, Bahrain, with a global footprint across five continents and a broad suite of corporate, retail and Islamic banking services. Its Operational Risk, Internal Audit and Compliance teams operated on separate legacy systems and Excel, making it labor-intensive to obtain a centralized, real-time view of non‑financial risk exposure, issues and action plans.
Bank ABC implemented an integrated BWise GRC platform to align processes and methodologies, creating a single repository for risks, controls, incidents, obligations, audits and assessments with unified risk language, KRIs, dashboards and workflow-based issue tracking. The rollout replaced siloed systems, delivered a real-time holistic view and standardized management information from a single source, improved accountability and efficiency, and set the stage for ongoing enhancements and future automation.
