A SAI Global Case Study
Catholic Homes, which cares for around 900 seniors across more than 30 locations in metropolitan Melbourne and Bacchus Marsh, faced sector-wide pressures: recruiting and training staff, financial sustainability, growing regulatory scrutiny and a broad range of health and safety risks (manual handling, infection control, medication and behaviour management, elder abuse prevention, environmental hazards). Risk and compliance had been managed manually by a Risk Management Committee using spreadsheets until they engaged SAI Global and adopted SAI Global’s GRC Platform.
SAI Global implemented a new risk and compliance framework via its GRC Platform to manage, schedule and report risks, controls and compliance tasks. The SAI Global solution replaced spreadsheet-based processes with an enterprise-wide, auditable system that improves consistency, scheduling and visibility of controls and compliance activities, streamlining reporting and strengthening Catholic Homes’ ability to meet tighter regulatory requirements.
