Izba Celna automates workflow and rollback in one system with Sagiton

Izba Celna, a part of the Polish Ministry of Finance, faced significant challenges in managing its administrative workflows, including a lack of process automation, no mechanism for user interaction during a process, and difficulties in tracking progress. Sagiton was brought in to take over the advanced SEAP project, inheriting a complex system built with jBPM and Drools, and tasked with completing its key functionalities to address these issues.

Sagiton implemented a modern process management console, added support for user tasks to allow data input, and developed critical mechanisms for process versioning and automated rollback within the client's distributed IT environment. The solution was deeply integrated with the Ministry's existing systems and included secure single sign-on access. As a result, Sagiton provided the customer with a more transparent, error-resistant, and stable system, enabling faster problem diagnosis and ensuring data consistency across all processes.
