A Saggezza Case Study
A large financial institution was struggling to keep its applications consistent as designers created multiple variants of similar components and developers had to copy, paste, or rewrite UI elements across projects. These inconsistencies slowed feature delivery and made it harder to maintain brand standards. Saggezza was brought in to help address the challenge using React and Styleguidist.
Saggezza implemented a globally accessible shared component library of ready-to-use React components, delivered as an NPM module with semantic versioning and styling rules built in so developers no longer needed to write CSS in their applications. The result was fewer new component variants, faster design reuse, less time spent on component creation and enhancements, and improved sprint velocity, application consistency, and performance.
