Saggezza worked with National Restaurant Chain after its 2012 private equity acquisition to help shape a long-term digital strategy. The chain was focused on building a mobile app, but needed guidance on where technology investments would actually improve operations and guest experience, especially for digital marketing and eCommerce.
Using Saggezza’s JointStrike™ diagnostic, research, and vision workshops, the company identified the right mix of customer-facing digital capabilities, including a mobile-friendly eCommerce site and loyalty platform, supported by Microsoft Azure, Fishbowl, and Facebook. The results were strong: more than 70,000 new loyalty members joined within 90 days, email open rates increased by 67%, Facebook click-throughs rose by 200%, post views increased by 27%, referrals grew by 154%, and cost per click dropped by 73%.
