Packsize, a Salt Lake City–based provider of on-demand right-sized packaging, faced growing accounts receivable challenges as manual invoice, statement and past-due communications consumed their collectors’ time — a problem that intensified as the COVID-19 pandemic put renewed focus on cash flow. To address this, Packsize partnered with Sage Network and implemented automated collections capabilities (Lockstep Collect in their workflow) to streamline outreach and payments.
Sage Network deployed automated monthly statements, weekly past-due notices and a self-service payment portal so customers could view invoices and pay online, eliminating much of the manual work. The automation reduced routine tasks, freed Packsize’s collectors to perform deeper AR analysis, sustained collections activity during the pandemic, and scaled with renewed business — allowing Packsize to expand staffing with two additional temporary collectors while improving cash-flow management.
