A Sage Intacct Case Study
Women’s World Banking is a 35‑year‑old global nonprofit that helps low‑income women access financial products and services. With operations in the US and the Netherlands, the organization faced complex project accounting, grant balancing, and revenue management needs; its legacy mix of Blackbaud Financial Edge and a home‑grown SQL project system produced reconciliation headaches and inconsistent views of financial metrics.
To fix this, Women’s World Banking deployed Sage Intacct (with implementation partner Leap the Pond and Nexonia for web timesheets), replacing parallel systems and automating project, time, and revenue workflows. The roll‑out cut data‑entry time from 20 to 6 hours monthly, reduced AP and reporting by roughly 200 hours annually (AP time by two‑thirds), and transformed grant reporting from a day per quarter to minutes per grant—delivering real‑time, multi‑dimensional visibility across entities, grants, and projects.
