Case Study: Vitamin Angels achieves $14M in new restricted funding with Sage Intacct

A Sage Intacct Case Study

Preview of the Vitamin Angels Case Study

Vitamin Angels supplements its financial management with Sage Intacct

Vitamin Angels is a global public-health nonprofit that delivers nutrition interventions to pregnant women and children in low-resource settings across more than 70 countries. Rapid growth exposed limits of their legacy QuickBooks and spreadsheet-based processes—tracking multi-entity, multi-currency finances and inventory across 13 warehouses was manual and error-prone, and the administrative burden discouraged pursuing restricted grants.

By implementing Sage Intacct with Salesforce and payroll integrations, Vitamin Angels automated multi-entity accounting, AP workflows and revenue recognition, improving AP efficiency by 60% and saving about 10 hours/month in AR data entry. The automation helped the organization secure new restricted funding (including $215K soon after go-live and an anticipated $14M over three years), identified $200K in logistics savings that funded services for an additional 800,000 people, and freed finance to focus on strategic growth.
