A Sage Intacct Case Study
StarCorp, a Phoenix-based franchisee operating 144 Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants across Arizona, Texas and the Midwest, was running finance on QuickBooks and Excel. That setup required manual consolidation and bank reconciliations for each location and manual payroll data entry, which was time-consuming, error-prone and limiting as the company planned to grow.
StarCorp moved to cloud accounting with Sage Intacct, which automated reconciliations and integrations and delivered real-time reporting. The company consolidated 144 monthly reconciliations into one daily process (saving ~20 hours/month), cut payroll processing by eight hours per period, reduced vendor-bill time from four hours/week to 15 minutes, avoided roughly two full-time hires, and gained better visibility for forecasting, labor cost control and expansion decisions.
