A Sage Intacct Case Study
St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, a historic parish in northwest Washington, D.C. with roughly 600 active households and over $2M in annual donations, struggled with outdated server-based accounting (Adagio) and complex spreadsheets that made audits, fund reporting, and donor stewardship slow and error-prone.
Partnering with Chazin & Company to implement Sage Intacct and integrations with Bill.com, Martus and Realm, the church streamlined its chart of accounts, automated key workflows and outsourced accounting tasks. The changes saved about $150,000 a year, improved finance efficiency by 70%, halved the monthly close, increased pledge revenue by 22% from greater transparency, and enabled $2M in fundraising for facility renovations.
