A Sage Intacct Case Study
Sierra at Tahoe is a California ski resort with more than 2,000 acres of terrain and a lean three‑person accounting team. The resort outgrew NetSuite: the system was expensive and included unused features, and its reporting and dashboard limitations made it hard to track operational metrics like skier visits, rental units, and real‑time P&L details.
Sierra at Tahoe implemented Sage Intacct with partner Cargas, cutting software licensing costs by 54% and deploying dashboards that deliver real‑time metrics to about 35 operational managers. The new system eliminated roughly seven hours of monthly manual work (cash‑flow forecasting and AP follow‑up), improved forecasting and decision‑making, and provided the financial visibility needed to manage spending and respond to disruptions like COVID‑19 and wildfire damage.
