Sage People helps ChildFund’s HR team go global

ChildFund International is an 80-year-old global nonprofit that supports children in Asia, Africa, the Americas and the U.S., with more than 1,000 employees—85% working outside the United States. The organization relied on spreadsheets and decentralized, manual HR processes and needed a single, cloud-based system that could standardize recruitment, performance, learning and other people operations across multiple countries and languages.

ChildFund implemented Sage People (built on Salesforce) to automate recruiting, integrate onboarding with E‑Verify and DocuSign, and provide a self-service workforce portal and centralized performance tools. The change delivered global visibility across 22 countries, sped ad hoc reporting from weeks to about 15 minutes, increased recruiting efficiency by 20%, achieved roughly 90% employee adoption, and streamlined onboarding and HR operations.
