A Sage Intacct Case Study
Epiphany Dermatology, an Austin-based practice founded in 2015, expanded rapidly through acquisitions to about 50 clinics across 10 states and grew revenue 212% over three years to nearly $42M. That pace exposed limits in QuickBooks—no multi-entity consolidation, no clinic-level P&Ls or easy adjusted EBITDA, and a growing manual workload that hindered financial agility during expansion.
Working with BTerrell Group, Epiphany implemented Sage Intacct in 2017 and connected it to best-of-breed apps (Concur, ADP, Adaptive Insights). The result: five-fold improvement in finance efficiency, automated multi-entity consolidations, clinic-level reporting and drill-downs, monthly close cut from >20 to as few as 10 days, and avoidance of 2–3 accounting FTEs—delivering the scalability and visibility needed to support continued growth.
