A Sage Intacct Case Study
Personal Healthcare, LLC is a senior care management company operating skilled nursing and rehabilitative facilities in New York and Massachusetts that expanded from one to eight homes and needed better multi-entity financial visibility. Their legacy industry software and outside accountants couldn’t support paperless processes or provide transparent, consolidated views of revenues, payroll, and expenses across facilities, states, and departments.
Working with Sage Intacct and partner Brittenford Systems, Personal Healthcare moved its general ledger and accounts payable onto Sage Intacct and integrated MatrixCare, Reliable Health Systems, payroll, and vendor reports to enable instant consolidations and automated uploads. The change shortened monthly close from a week to one or two days, eliminated over 400 hours of annual manual entry (about 20 hours/month in AP), avoided hiring 1.5 employees (≈$80,000/year), and delivered multi-dimensional, per-patient-per-day reporting for faster, data-driven decisions.
