Ontra, a California-based legal technology firm that pairs experienced corporate attorneys with a cloud platform, was rapidly expanding domestically and internationally but still relied on Excel for accounting. Ontra implemented Sage Intacct with CrossCountry Consulting and integrated it with their application plus Tipalti and Expensify to automate data flows and multi-entity, multi-currency accounting. The move cut month-end close from as long as three weeks to 10 days, reduced a four-hour manual upload to 20 minutes, eliminated two days of monthly journal work, saved time on reconciliations, improved cash-reconciliation efficiency by 50%, and delivered centralized financial visibility to support continued global growth.
