A Sage Intacct Case Study
Member Business Solutions (MBS), founded in 2003, provides business lending and servicing for more than 100 small credit unions. As the company grew, sharing an on‑premises Fiserv system with its parent became inefficient—MBS needed a flexible cloud ERP to simplify complex billing, stop revenue leakage, shorten close cycles, and give leaders better visibility into financial and operational metrics.
Working with implementation partner Leap the Pond, MBS deployed Intacct in under a month and automated project accounting, billing, AR/AP and reconciliations. The change eliminated more than 70 hours per month from billing, saved about 30 hours monthly on reporting and ad‑hoc requests, cut the monthly close from seven days to two, reduced specific billing tasks from four days to four hours, and stopped revenue leakage—freeing staff to focus on growth and giving department VPs real‑time financial insight.
