A Sage Intacct Case Study
Hope’s Home is a Saskatchewan-based nonprofit that provides skilled care for children with complex medical needs. As the organization grew to four locations and a $15M budget, its legacy Sage 50 system could no longer handle complex reporting, manual, paper‑heavy workflows, or the requirement to host data in Canada — limiting efficiency and scalability.
Hope’s Home moved to Sage Intacct hosted in a Canadian data centre, implemented with the help of a Sage partner. The finance department is now fully paperless with automated purchasing workflows, improved reporting and visibility, remote access, and integrations with time, expense, asset, and CRM systems — freeing the finance team for strategic work, reducing errors and costs, and strengthening the organization’s ability to demonstrate operational excellence and compete for funding.
