A Sage Intacct Case Study
Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, a Roman Catholic college-preparatory school founded in 1799 with about 490 students, needed to modernize its finance operations. Its on‑premise BlackBaud Financial Edge was siloed from FACTS (tuition), Raiser’s Edge (donors), and Veracross (student/contact data), forcing manual data re-entry, heavy Excel work to produce board financials, and slow monthly closes.
Working with Brittenford, the school implemented Sage Intacct plus the SchoolConnect integration suite and Bill.com in a two‑month rollout, automating tuition, donations, and contact updates and eliminating much manual work. The change saved an estimated 85 hours per month, shortened the monthly close by five days, enabled instant access to 100+ consolidated reports, improved project and departmental visibility (revealing, for example, underestimated graduation costs), and increased accountability across departments.
