A Sage Intacct Case Study
DataXu, founded in 2007, is a programmatic marketing platform used by brands and agencies to measure consumer behavior and personalize experiences across channels. As the company expanded globally, its QuickBooks-based accounting couldn’t handle multi-entity consolidations, multi-currency reporting, or the scalability required for international growth, so the finance team sought a cloud solution that could meet those needs.
By implementing Sage Intacct (with integration to Adaptive Insights), DataXu gained multi-ledger architecture, global consolidations, and real-time reporting, enabling fast, accurate multi-currency management across four legal entities. The change cut the monthly close from 20 to 8 days (a 12-day reduction), delivered better financial insight, supported rapid growth with minimal finance headcount, and makes it easy to add entities and reconfigure structures as the business expands.
