A Sage Intacct Case Study
Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF), a nonprofit founded in 1991 that has distributed more than $1 billion in food and resources through local churches, grew more complex after opening regional offices and launching a legacy foundation. The finance team was overwhelmed by QuickBooks, massive Excel spreadsheets, fragmented and inaccurate data, and time-consuming manual reporting, so CHF needed a scalable financial system that would provide timely, reliable insight as operations expanded.
Working with partner Armanino, CHF replaced QuickBooks with Sage Intacct and integrated Nexonia for expenses and MartusTools for budgeting. The multi-dimensional reporting and automated dashboards delivered real-time visibility and donor transparency, condensed the annual budget cycle from four months to six weeks, saved 40+ hours per month on manual tasks, and paid for itself in under six months—enabling faster, data-driven program decisions and quicker program expansion.
