A Sage Intacct Case Study
Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington is a Spokane-based nonprofit that serves more than 60,000 people annually with a $29M budget and roughly 400 staff. The organization’s on-premises Abila MIP system proved inadequate during the pandemic, exposing problems with remote access, manual processes, spreadsheet-based budgeting, and limited integration capabilities.
Working with Sage partner Clark Nuber, CCEW moved to cloud-based Sage Intacct, adding dashboards, a dimensional general ledger, automated workflows and integrations with Salesforce and Questica (with ADP integration planned). The implementation reduced time spent preparing grant reports by about 20%, eliminated duplicate data entry, simplified the chart of accounts, improved real-time visibility and uptime, and increased capacity to manage additional grants while accelerating ROI.
