Sullivan Construction Paves Road to Profits With Sage 100 ERP

Alton E. Sullivan Construction, a 25-employee contractor in Albany, Oregon, faced slow, error-prone spreadsheet job costing, paper timecards, complex prevailing-wage reporting and nearly incalculable profits. To solve these problems the company implemented Sage 100 ERP from Sage, including the Job Cost, TimeCard and financial modules.

Sage deployed Sage 100 ERP across Sullivan and its sister company A.J. Crushing, automating job costing, payroll and bank reconciliation. The result: nearly one full-time data-entry position eliminated, bank reconciliation cut from a day to about 90 minutes, accounting time for the sister company halved, administrative workload reduced by roughly 40 hours per week and overdue receivables virtually eliminated—improving cash flow and enabling accurate job profitability and bidding.
