Namco Cybertainment Inc., the largest video arcade operator in the U.S. with 500+ locations, struggled to develop detailed store-level budgets and track performance because corporate resources and data access were limited. To avoid adding staff, Namco selected Sage products—Sage Budgeting and Planning and Sage Allocations—to provide integrated, customizable planning and allocation capabilities.

Sage implemented linked, GL-integrated Plan Sheets and automated allocation routines that let Namco produce tailored budgets for every store and allocate costs accurately across the organization. As a result, one person can generate detailed monthly reports for 500+ locations, the annual budget cycle was reduced to two weeks, and cost allocations now run in about ten minutes—improving management control, reducing errors, and enabling performance-based accountability.
