A Sage ERP Case Study
Pumpaction, a Montreal-based pumping and liquids-handling company with five North American locations, needed to replace an aging proprietary accounting system that couldn’t support its integrated distribution, service/repair, and rental operations. The company chose Sage and its Sage ERP X3 solution for its international capability, configurability, and scalability to meet Pumpaction’s unique business requirements.
Sage and a Sage business partner configured Sage ERP X3 (with Nectari BI for reporting) to integrate sales, purchasing, rental, service and support into a single, real-time database. The implementation eliminated multiple systems and duplicate spreadsheet-driven processes, delivered real-time data and automated reports and KPIs, improved visibility across branches, and streamlined operations—reducing manual work, speeding reporting, and enabling better, proactive decision-making for Pumpaction.
