Sage ERP X3 Helps Aceto Corporation Manage Complicated Compliance Regulations

Aceto Corporation, a publicly traded chemical importer and distributor of over 1,000 products, was running an antiquated, spreadsheet-driven back office and struggling with a web of regulatory requirements (MSDS, FDA scrutiny, Bioterrorism Act, CT‑PAT and Sarbanes‑Oxley). Working with a Sage business partner and the Sage ERP X3 services team, Sage configured quality, inventory and in‑transit tracking (including landed‑cost and Certificate of Analysis handling), standardized processes across business units, and piloted the rollout. The Sage implementation streamlined and automated workflows, sped up financial statement preparation and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, and improved inventory, foreign‑exchange tracking, and credit/order controls.
