Sage 100 ERP—a Clear Solution for OptoSigma

OptoSigma, the U.S. subsidiary of Sigma Koki that supplies specialized optical components, needed to replace an aging Sage PFW ERP that no longer met its distribution and accounting needs. Working with Sage, OptoSigma migrated to Sage 100 ERP to gain a more intuitive interface, stronger inventory control and bill-of-materials functionality that better match its workflow.

Sage used built-in migration tools to import purchase orders, sales orders, payables, receivables and inventory data and enabled production entries, BOM tracking and the Paperless Office module. As a result, OptoSigma achieved faster, more accurate customer service, eliminated many manual inventory transactions, improved inventory control and reporting, and now produces more reliable sales forecasts thanks to Sage 100 ERP.
