A Sage ERP Case Study
Heresite Protective Coatings, LLC, a Manitowoc, Wisconsin manufacturer of industrial coatings, faced an outdated ERP after a change in ownership—their legacy Sage Pro system was years old and unable to support a mixed manufacturing and job-shop business model. Needing stronger assembly, inventory control and job costing, the company selected Sage and its Sage 100 ERP solution as the most cost‑effective option to modernize operations.
Sage implemented Sage 100 ERP (including Inventory, Bill of Materials, Job Cost, and TimeCard modules) and migrated vendor, customer, and item/BOM data, replacing manual data collection and duplicate entry. The result: Heresite can now track profitability at the item level, flow timecard data directly into job costing and payroll, improve pricing and manufacturing decisions, and achieve more accurate, integrated financial and operational reporting.
