A Sage ERP Case Study
Statile and Todd, a landscaping, nursery and wholesale nursery-products group in Far Hills, NJ, was running a legacy DOS accounting system that could no longer support its growing inventory (approaching 4,000 line items) or Windows-based multitasking needs. To replace the limited DOS platform and support aggressive growth, Statile and Todd selected Sage and its Sage 100 ERP solution (financial and distribution modules).
Sage implemented Sage 100 ERP across the company’s Windows network and the team went live within two months. The Sage deployment delivered markedly faster inventory reads and printouts, stable multitasking with low system-resource use, improved inventory tracking and reporting via the Inventory Management module, and seamless data export to ASCII/Lotus/Excel/dBase without extra exporters—resulting in a smooth conversion and a scalable system that meets Statile and Todd’s growth needs.
