Newrent, Inc., a commercial trailer sales and rentals company in Kearny, New Jersey, was struggling with an antiquated proprietary billing system that required duplicate data entry, couldn’t track inventory accurately, and frequently glitched as volume grew. To replace this inefficient setup the company selected Sage 100 ERP together with Automated Rental Management (ARM) to provide modern, integrated accounting and inventory capabilities.
Sage implemented Sage 100 ERP and ARM across Newrent’s networked PCs, automating rental agreements, inventory tracking, billing and inspections so data is entered once and flows end-to-end. The Sage solution eliminated redundant data entry, saved about 32 man-hours per week, boosted companywide efficiency and improved customer service by making equipment availability and rates instantly accessible.
