A Sage ERP Case Study
Navtrak, Inc., a GPS manufacturer based in Salisbury, Maryland, was constrained by QuickBooks, which failed to provide an adequate audit trail, deep inventory tracking, or management controls. Navtrak selected Sage and its Sage 500 ERP product to replace QuickBooks and integrate with the company’s internal database and CRM.
Sage implemented a full-suite Sage 500 ERP solution (financial, inventory and manufacturing modules) that eliminated manual transaction tracking, enforced security controls and integrated with Navtrak’s CRM. The result: data entry time fell by about 50%, report creation time dropped by 33%, and Navtrak doubled its business without increasing inventory levels or staffing, while gaining real-time inventory and cash-management visibility.
