A Sage ERP Case Study
M6 Concrete Accessories, Inc., a Wichita-based concrete and masonry distributor with steel fabrication and equipment rental divisions, was hampered by three separate business systems that required duplicate data entry and made consolidated reporting slow or impossible. To unify operations and improve reporting, M6 implemented Sage 100 ERP from Sage across its financials and warehouses.
Sage delivered a full suite of Sage 100 ERP modules—including Job Cost, Visual Integrator, Business Alerts, and the Automated Rental Management (ARM) vertical module—to automate job tracking, rental billing, inventory transfers, and alerts. The Sage solution eliminated duplicate entry, halved rental administration tasks, trimmed the steel clerk’s work by about one-third, reduced the controller’s workload by 25% (cutting month-end close from two weeks to one day), and enabled payroll reports to be completed in a morning instead of three days.
