iS5 Communications, a Mississauga-based designer and manufacturer of rugged network routing equipment, needed a scalable, integrated ERP to support complex, custom-manufacturing and global sales processes. Rather than piecing together add-ons, the company selected Sage ERP X3 to provide core accounting, manufacturing, product configurator, CRM, service tracking, multicurrency and reporting in a single solution.

Sage ERP X3 was deployed starting with accounting and financial reporting and is being extended to manufacturing, distribution and CRM; the integrated product configurator lets sales quickly build quotes that automatically generate work orders, and multicurrency, remote access and shipping features support global operations. By using Sage ERP X3, iS5 eliminated multiple disparate applications, accelerated order-to-build workflows, and gained a scalable platform to support growth and lifecycle tracking of engineered products.
