A Sage ERP Case Study
GoLite, LLC, an outdoor equipment and apparel manufacturer in Boulder, Colorado, was hampered by QuickBooks and Mail Order Manager, which could not provide time‑phased availability, a size/color matrix, or adequate dealer support—leading to inventory uncertainty, order errors, and slow fulfillment. After a two‑year search, GoLite selected Sage (deploying Sage 100 ERP) together with Ensemble Business Software (EBS) to address these gaps.
Sage implemented an integrated Sage 100 ERP + EBS solution with real‑time inventory, a size/color matrix, barcode scanning, and StarShip shipping integration, plus web‑order connectivity. The new system cut fulfillment time by about half a day, enabled same‑day shipping for orders received by noon, increased average order size, reduced administrative workload, and improved order accuracy with electronic/paper trails—demonstrating clear productivity and service gains for GoLite.
