A Sage ERP Case Study
CPS, a sales and service group based in Whitby, Ontario, struggled with fragmented sales and accounting databases that forced staff to rekey data, create quotes in word processors, and wait for weekly/monthly reports. To solve this, CPS partnered with Sage and implemented Sage 300 together with Sage CRM to integrate sales, quoting and financial processes.
Sage integrated Sage 300 and Sage CRM so reps can nightly sync mobile devices and export contacts, notes and appointments via Outlook into a centralized database, while inside staff create quotes in Sage 300 and convert them to orders with one click. The Sage solution eliminated redundant data entry, delivered real-time sales pipeline visibility and schedules, and sped up reporting—significantly improving CPS’s sales efficiency and management oversight.
