Unilever rolls out Sage Clarity across 15 plants to boost TPM performance

Unilever was implementing a total productive maintenance (TPM) initiative but found its manually collected data difficult to utilize for judging performance through overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The company partnered with vendor Sage Clarity to deploy its Epicor Informance EMI enterprise manufacturing intelligence software to address this productivity challenge.

Sage Clarity's solution enabled Unilever's manufacturing plants to accurately capture downtime data, which allowed them to target and prioritize specific opportunities for improvement. The Epicor Informance system was successfully rolled out division-wide across more than 15 plants, accelerating Unilever's TPM initiative and improving its bottom line.
