Nova Southeastern University (NSU), a large research-focused university with 4,800+ employees and 24,000+ students, needed effective, engaging safety training across a range of laboratory and research topics. One key challenge was finding formaldehyde safety training, which was not yet available in the SafetySkills library, while also needing to deliver courses through its existing Blackboard LMS.

SafetySkills fast-tracked development of a formaldehyde safety course by working directly with NSU stakeholders to define the learning objectives, then provided the course as a SCORM 1.2 .zip package for seamless delivery in Blackboard. With support from SafetySkills at every step, NSU was able to assign and deliver the training through its LMS without issues, helping strengthen safety training for its research environment.
