A SafeSchools Case Study
Monroe Public Schools needed a more efficient way to streamline harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB) incident reporting, investigation, and trend analysis while staying compliant with Washington House Bill 2801. The district had been using multiple databases to track tips and needed a centralized, cost-effective system to better organize and retain incident data and improve student safety. SafeSchools provided the SafeSchools Alert Tip Reporting System to meet that need.
With SafeSchools Alert, Monroe Public Schools created a centralized, 24/7 confidential reporting system for staff, students, and parents via phone, text, email, and web, with immediate notifications, case management, and customizable reporting tools. The district has created and resolved nearly 300 tickets, improved documentation and consistency across buildings, saved hours on database maintenance, and can generate exportable compliance reports for the state. SafeSchools also enabled custom fields and reports that help Monroe monitor safety trends and share progress district-wide.
