Case Study: Avista Senior Living reduces falls and speeds care with SafelyYou

Avista Senior Living partnered with SafelyYou to address a common senior-care challenge: reducing falls, improving resident outcomes, easing staffing strain, and positioning the organization as an innovative care leader. To support these goals, Avista began piloting SafelyYou’s AI video technology and 24/7 remote clinical support across its communities.

With SafelyYou, Avista was able to detect silent falls that might otherwise have gone unnoticed, assess fall severity more accurately, and work with remote clinicians to develop person-centered interventions. The results included 12% of falls being identified as silent falls, only 1% resulting in an ER visit, and expansion of SafelyYou to 10 communities, helping Avista reduce risk, improve response times, and deliver faster care to residents.
