The University of North Dakota needed a systematic way to train its campus-wide workforce as it grew to about 6,000 employees across 170+ areas, while also meeting new insurance requirements aimed at reducing workers’ compensation injuries and damages. To address this challenge, the university turned to SafeColleges and its Training System to provide customized online training and completion tracking.

SafeColleges implemented a training solution that was easy to roll out and gave UND clear reporting on employee completion rates. As a result, UND reported that 96% of employees passed their coursework, and the improved injury-prevention efforts helped the university secure a $500,000 reduction in its insurance premium.
