A Safecall Case Study
Air Liquide, the French multinational supplying gases, technologies and services across industrial and healthcare sectors, wanted to strengthen its ethics and compliance programme with a whistleblowing hotline that could work across more than 80 countries and many languages. Air Liquide chose Safecall and its whistleblowing service, Ethicall, to support reporting by both phone and online while meeting privacy and compliance expectations.
Safecall provided an external, Europe-based hotline with experienced call handlers who could gather more detailed reports and improve follow-up. The programme helped Air Liquide build trust in speaking up, expand credible reporting across about 40 locations, and close every case in under two months; around 30% of reports were substantiated, and the company is now working with Safecall to improve report quality, investigations, and compliance readiness for future regulations.
