Case Study: Carlsberg achieves continuous security validation with SafeBreach

A SafeBreach Case Study

Preview of the Carlsberg Case Study

How Carlsberg utilizes the SafeBreach breach and attack simulation (BAS) platform to validate its security tools so they can do what they do best make beer

Carlsberg, a global brewing giant with roughly 40,000 employees and operations in 150 countries, needed to move beyond point-in-time validation methods like penetration testing and vulnerability scanners to protect its large, complex manufacturing infrastructure. To gain continuous, realistic assessment of its defenses, Carlsberg engaged SafeBreach and adopted the SafeBreach breach and attack simulation (BAS) platform.

SafeBreach was deployed to continuously replicate real-world attack scenarios, enabling Carlsberg to validate security controls, uncover misconfigurations and previously unseen attack angles, and compare prospective security solutions. As a result, SafeBreach provided continuous visibility into Carlsberg’s security posture, exposed gaps traditional tools missed, delivered actionable findings from an initial pilot and ongoing use, and created potential to streamline M&A due diligence.
