Sacramento Area Sewer District - Customer Case Study

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD), a sewer utility serving more than one million people in the Sacramento region, needed to continuously synchronize data across multiple disparate systems to manage its sewer network effectively.

Working with CAD Masters, SASD implemented FME Desktop to automate synchronization: Esri ArcSDE base maps are kept in sync with AutoCAD Map 3D Enterprise (backed by Oracle), and FME workflows push new sewer features and unique IDs from Maximo into Map 3D. Built with FME’s graphical drag-and-drop tools and the Logger for an auditable paper trail, the solution delivered consistent, up-to-date data and streamlined sewer data management.
