The Municipality of Arnhem, one of the larger cities in the Netherlands, needed to close the gap between its geo and IT departments by consolidating all ETL processes onto a single platform to improve consistency and collaboration.

They selected FME, using FME Desktop to build 30 geospatial workflows and 25 non‑spatial BI workflows (including Slowly Changing Dimensions) and FME Server for automation. The project—delivered with FME Certified Professional Itay Bar‑On of ETL Solution—successfully aligned teams on one environment; FME now maintains enterprise geospatial databases, performs data integration tasks, and populates the BI data warehouse.
